گردش مالی یا به اصطلاح financial cycle مفهومی کلان و مهم در صنعت های بزرگ و حتی کوچک در جهان است.
گردش مالی به شما می گوید که موازنه تجارت شما در این بخش خاص چگونه است و حجم سود و ضرر سرمایه در گردش و پویا سرمایه خوابیده در بسته گردش مالی مشخص می شوند. به طور مثال در سال 2016 فقط گردش مالی بخش مبلمان ایران به عدد 500 میلیارد دلار طبق پیش بینی های مالی رسید. این عدد معنادار نشان می دهد که صنعت مبلمان نقش کلیدی در گردش مالی کلی اقتصاد ایران ایفا می کند. برای بیشتر سرمایه گذاران، تجار و دلالان حوزه مبلمان و دکوراسیون مشخص شدن عدد دقیق گردش مالی مهم است. لذا هر مجموعه ای این عدد را آخر سال مالی خود استخراج می کند؛ البته اول هر سال مالی پیش بینی هایی از گردش مالی پیشرو می کنند که یا محقق شده و یا محقق نمی شود.

بسیاری اوقات گردش مالی صنعت مبلمان کشورهایی مانند ترکیه و ایتالیا بعنوان رقیب با ایران مقایسه می شوند. نکته تامل برانگیز این است که سود حاصل از این گردش مالی این کشورها از فروش خالص نفت ما در یک سال بیشتر بوده و این تنها یک بخش از هزاران بخش اقتصادی آنهاست.
گردش مالی به صورت روزانه، ماهانه، سالانه و چند ساله قابل تعریف است و هرم اقتصادی و رشد یا نزول اقتصادی شما را بوضوح روی نمودار می برد و شما می توانید علل کاهش یا افزایش گردش مالی خود را دربرخی ماهها، روزها و ساعات خاص به صورت شفاف استخراج کنید. گردش مالی از هدف گذاری مالی سرچشمه می گیرد.
بدون هدف گذاری مالی هرگز به سمت افزایش سرمایه در گردش و قاعدتا سود خالص افزایش یافته ناشی از آن حجم از سرمایه نخواهید رفت. برگشت سرمایه به همراه سود از حجم سرمایه در گردش مورد انتظار تاجر یا کارفرمای این بخش است؛ اما به علت ناپایداری اقتصادی ایران و نوسانات زیاد بعضا محقق نمی شود. سرمایه خوابیده نقطه مقابل سرمایه در گردش است که می تواند وارد جریان سرمایه در گردش شود یا همچنان به صورت سرمایه خوابیده بلا استفاده باقی بماند./
